Sioux Center Woman Injured In Hull Crash

Hull, Iowa — A Sioux Center woman was taken to the hospital as a result of a single-vehicle accident near Hull Tuesday morning.

According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, about 9:25 Tuesday morning, a 2001 Ford F-150 pickup, driven by 20-year-old Mackenzie Jones of Sioux Center, was southbound on Hickory Avenue, one-half mile south of Hull. Deputies report that Jones lost control of the truck, which entered the east ditch, struck a Sioux County Highway Department traffic sign and rolled.

Authorities say Jones was transported by the Hull Ambulance to Sioux Center Health for treatment of minor injuries.

Deputies estimate the damage to Jones’ pickup at approximately $8,000. The sign sustained an estimated $100 in damage.

The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Hull Ambulance and Hull Fire Department.
