Rock Rapids, IA — A Rock Rapids woman was arrested after a traffic a couple of miles west of Rock Rapids on Sunday, June 7th.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 11:50 pm, the sheriff’s office received a complaint of an erratic driver eastbound on Highway 9 near Grand Falls Casino. 45-year-old Gloria Rockhill was stopped a couple miles west of Rock Rapids by a deputy. According to the Sheriff’s Office, it was found that Rockhill was under the influence of alcohol and was charged with Operating While Intoxicated 1st offense, a serious misdemeanor.
Rockhill was booked into the Lyon County Jail.
