Accident West of Sioux Center Sends One To Hawarden Hospital

Regional – On Friday, February 16, at 12:10 a.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Dove Avenue, eight miles west of Sioux Center, IA.

Alexander Hader, 24, of Norfolk, NE, was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado northbound on Dove Avenue. Hader reported that he lost consciousness. The vehicle entered the east ditch and rolled.

Hader was transported by the Hawarden Ambulance to the Hawarden Regional Healthcare for treatment of minor injuries.

The Chevrolet sustained approximately $15,000 in damage.

Harder was cited for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle and open container of alcohol.
