Northwest Iowa — Sheldon saw 4-inches of snow fall during the snowstorm that passed through the area late Tuesday afternoon into very early Wednesday, which was below the storm totals that had been predicted.
Todd Heitkamp is Meteorologist-In-Charge at the National Weather Service Weather Station in Sioux Falls. He tells us that snowfall totals around the region varied widely.
Heitkamp says the next storm system may bring a mixed bag of precipitation types.
He says regardless of the type of precipitation we receive, Thanksgiving holiday weekend travel may be a challenge.
