Autumn’s Center Gets $1,750 Gift

Spencer, Iowa — Autumn’s Center at the Seasons Center for Behavioral Health has received a $1,750 donation from the Pella Corporation in Sioux Center, Iowa.

Christina Eggink-Postma from Season’s Center says Pella held an E-Cyle event in late April, and presented the donation to Season’s Center earlier this week.

Eggink-Postma tells us about Autumn’s Center.

She says no decision has yet been made on exactly how to utilize the donation.

One part of Autumn’s Center is called Camp Autumn, and is located in southeastern O’Brien County. Eggink-Postma says campers at Camp Autumn started arriving earlier this week.

Autumn’s Center, and Camp Autumn are named in memory, and in honor, of Autumn Elgersma, the Orange City toddler who lost her life at the hands of her daycare provider in October of 2013.
