Sheldon, Iowa — The City of Sheldon will be doing some water main improvements.
Work will begin Monday October 25, 2021, at 10:30 PM and should be completed by Tuesday October 26, 2021, at 6:00 AM. You may experience reduced water pressure during the repair if you are located north of Hwy 18 between Country Club Road/Nest Ave and North 10th Ave. Please turn off items that typically operate during the overnight hours if you live in the work area. Examples would be irrigation systems and water softeners. There could be some discoloration in the water when normal operating pressure is restored. Please use caution when washing whites and delicates immediately following the repair timeframe.
