Jeri Postma of Bubbles Professional Dry Cleaning and Laundry says the 16th annual program was, in her words, “an awesome success.”

She says they collected 487 coats, 145 pair of gloves and mittens, and 233 hats and scarves.

Postma says she wants to thank all of the volunteers and organizations who helped again this year, including Gordon of Gordon’s Shoes and Shirts for fixing zippers, Ann Van Hill for repairs, Erika Nordyke and Brenda Cantera for cleaning the coats, Tom Butler for delivering the coats, Don’s Leather Cleaning for cleaning the leather coats and the Ministerial Association for organizing the event.

Postma says that since she and her late husband Mark started the program 16 years ago, they have distributed over 7500 coats.

She also says she would like to thank everyone in the area who participated somehow to make this a successful event.
