Council To Hear Emergency Services Reports

Council ChambersSheldon, Iowa — When the Sheldon City Council meets this Wednesday, February 1st, they will hear a report from the City’s Emergency Services on their activities in 2016.  The Sheldon Community Ambulance Team, Fire Department, Emergency Management Agency and Police Department have all prepared detailed information about their services to the community over the past twelve months for this report.

The Council will also review the proposed ordinance for establishing the Crossroads Pavilion Advisory Board.  In addition, they will set the date and time for a budget workshop, and the date and time for a public hearing on the proposed sale of real estate in the Trilogy Subdivision.

The last item on the agenda, a discussion on the employee union’s contract proposal, will probably be held in closed session.

Wednesday’s meeting will begin at 4:30 in the upper level of the Sheldon Community Services Center.
