“Curtain Up” Hits Sheldon Summer Theatre Stage This Weekend

Sheldon, Iowa — The second production of the 49th season for the Sheldon High School Summer Theatre will be performed this weekend at the high school.

The 2021 season will feature a total of five different productions, and began last weekend with Neil Simon’s The Odd Couple, Female Version. This weekend’s production is entitled, Curtain Up. The show’s director, Christina Moyer, tells us about the plot of Curtain Up.

Shelby Peterson is one of the actors who brings a character to life in the production, and she talks about her character who, she says, is a little like her own personality.

Madison Bedwell is another of the cast members, and she tells us about her role.

Moyer says Curtain Up will be performed in the Sheldon High School Auditorium.

Tickets will be sold at the door each evening, with doors opening at 7:30 and curtain time at 8:00 pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
