Sheldon, Iowa — The Iowa Department of Natural Resources has rescheduled a public meeting over the Iowa Communications Network. The meeting, rescheduled for Wednesday, March 25 from 6 to 9 p.m., is to listen to the public’s thoughts on the hunting and trapping regulations for this fall. The meeting was scheduled earlier, but had to be postponed due to weather. One of the sites will be at Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon.
Kevin Baskins, a spokesman for the Iowa DNR says that these meetings are part of the process for making rules in state government.
Baskins says any changes would have to go through the Natural Resources Commission.
The ICN site at NCC is in room 402, and there’s no preregistration needed. Just use the main entrance by the flag pole, and follow the hallway to the right.
