Sheldon, Iowa — Problem solving. That will be what northwest Iowa high school students will be doing at the third annual engineering expo this Tuesday, May 11th, at Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon.
NCC Dean of Applied Technology, Steve Waldstein tells us about it.
He says one of the activities involves a catapult and eggs.
He tells us what area teachers have said about the engineering expo.
He says there are students from several schools participating.
Waldstein says they’ve been adding new things to the event every year.
He says last year students needed to hold up a teammate to the wall with duct tape. He says they’ve also added a distance competition to the catapult event.
