Extension To Offer Living With Purpose Workshops

Lori HayungsNorthwest Iowa — Being physically fit, eating nutritious foods and getting enough rest are important, but not enough to make people truly satisfied with life. Purpose is the number one factor in living a fulfilled life. That’s according to human sciences experts with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach.

We asked Lori Hayungs with ISU Extension what “living with purpose” really is.

She says it’s about living your life instead of your life living you.

ISU Experts tell us that people who live with a sense of purpose live longer, have a higher quality of life and are better able to adapt to challenges they face in life.

She says there’s going to be a series of workshops called “What About Me? My Wellbeing,” aimed at helping you find your purpose.

She says you can look for more information about the series of workshops in late March or early April.
