Fareway Holds Grand Re-Opening and Ribbon Cutting

Sheldon, Iowa — The ribbon was cut Wednesday morning as part of the Grand Re-Opening at the Fareway Food Store in Sheldon. The store has undergone some interior changes, and Fareway officials thought the Grand Re-Opening a great opportunity to highlight those improvements.

The Ribbon Cutting began with comments from Sheldon Development Director Curt Strouth, who spoke on behalf of both the City of Sheldon and the Sheldon Chamber & Development Corporation.

Following Strouth’s comments, Ambassadors President Skip Tanner presented Fareway Manager Brent Kraft with a plaque to commemorate the occasion.

Kraft described the changes that had taken place during Fareway’s remodeling project.

He says the store has numerous sale prices during their Grand Re-Opening event.

Sheldon’s Fareway Food Store opened its doors for the first time in December, 2001.
