Sutherland, Iowa — There’s an opportunity for you this week to learn about large cats like mountain lions that can sometimes be spotted in our region.
The O’Brien County Conservation Board is hosting a guest speaker presenting information on the “Big Cats of Iowa.” O’Brien County Naturalist Charlene Elyea tells us what to expect at the Thursday evening program (June 20th).
The next event on their schedule is “Celebrate the Sun” to be held on Friday, June 21 at 5:00 p.m. This family fun event will focus on our closest star – the sun. You can take part in experiments to learn more about the center of our solar system.
