Sheldon, Iowa — A fireworks store, with mutiple locations around northwest Iowa, has opened its doors in Sheldon.
“It’s Lit” is now open, across from Casey’s West, in Sheldon. Joel Bousema, of Sheldon, is a partner in the business, and tells us how they arrived at the name, “It’s Lit”.
Bousema tells us how the business came to be.
He says the Sheldon store, which is on the northwest corner of the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Highway 18 in Sheldon, opened last week.
In addition to the Sheldon location, Bousema says there are a number of other “It’s Lit” locations around northwest Iowa.
Bousema says the Sheldon location is open Monday through Friday from 4 to 9 pm, and Saturday from 1 to 9 pm. He says that, as the Independence Day holiday draws near, they plan to expand their hours of operation.
