Hospers, Iowa — As the summer winds down, the community celebrations continue. This Saturday it’s Hospers’ turn.
The Hospers Summer Celebration is scheduled for this Saturday, August 21st. Activities will include a vendor fair, activities at Southside Park (bring your lawn chairs), a smoke-off with judging at 2:00 p.m. for the pork loin and at 3 p.m. for the ribs, a bean bag tournament, and a co-ed mud volleyball tournament.
There will be all kinds of things for kids to do, including free inflatables, kiddie train rides, water fights, and face painting.
There will be free ice cream bars, and Omaha Street Percussion will perform. There will also be bingo and a “Cruize-in Car Show.”
