Sheldon, Sibley, Iowa, etc. — Another GOP presidential candidate will be in our area soon.
Mike Huckabee’s staff says the former Arkansas Governor will be in Spencer, Sheldon, Sibley and Okoboji on Thursday, August 27th.
He’ll start the day with an early stop at Sisters Mainstreet Cafe in Spencer at 7:30 AM. At 11:30, he’ll make his Sheldon stop at the Prairie Queen Bakery & Restaurant at 301 10th Street. Then it’s on to Sibley for a 2:30 appearance at the Sibley Pizza Ranch at 316 Ninth Street. He’ll end the day at a Multi-County Republican Summer Picnic co-hosted by Senator Chuck Grassley at 5:30 PM at Parks Marina in Okoboji.
In addition to being a former governor of Arkansas, Huckabee hosted a radio program called The Huckabee Report on ABC Radio from 2009 through May of this year.
