Hull Home Damaged Thursday In Mid-Day Fire

Hull, Iowa — A Hull residence was damaged in a fire that took place during the noon hour Thursday.

Hull Fire Chief Greg Van Roekel says the home, which is located at 1305 3rd Street, in northeastern Hull, received some fire damage, along with a lot of smoke damage.

Van Roekel says once his firefighters were on the scene they could see flames inside the house. The Rock Valley Fire Department was dispatched to provide water to be used in battling the blaze.

Van Roekel says firefighters were on the scene for about two hours.
