Life And Leisure Classes Through NCC Offer New Experiences

Sheldon, Iowa — “Want to learn a new hobby, improve your day-to-day life or experience a relaxing outing with friends?” That’s how a series of classes is being promoted at Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon.

We talked to NCC Continuing Education Coordinator Twyla Vogel about these courses. She gives us an overview.

Vogel tells us about some upcoming classes in the program.

She tells us they have some other opportunities in May.

She says they will also offer a Freezer Meals class in May. She says interest in that type of class has been high.

Vogel tells us about some other classes that they’ve offered and may offer again.

She says sometimes an instructor wants to teach a class, and they let people know. Other times a group of people is interested in a topic and NCC finds someone to teach the class. It goes both ways.

You can find a list of class offerings on the NCC website. You can also register for classes there. For more information, you can call 712-324-5061 or 800-352-4907 and ask for Continuing Education.
