Little Rock Corn Show Getting Underway Now

Little Rock, Iowa — It’s a tradition that goes back many years. It’s part fair, part town festival, and 100 percent fun.

The Little Rock Corn Show is getting underway in the northeast Lyon County community. This Friday you can see exhibits in the Town & Country Building. The other opportunity is the Miss Little Rock Queen Contest. Prizes can also be won.

On Saturday, there’s a 1 and 3-mile walk, a vendor fair, crop and product viewing, a pedal pull, a pork dinner, a golf ball roll, a parade, the Leon Olsen Polka Band will play, and more.

There are a bunch of fun things to do on Sunday as well. Things will start off with an omlet and German pancake brunch at city hall. There will be a joint church service under the tent at 10:00 a.m. There’s a volleyball tournament at Town & Country Park. Also at the park is the show and shine car show, the bean bag tournament, and an antique tractor pull. Plus, there’s a soap box derby.

That’s all in Little Rock for this year’s Little Rock Corn Show. Click here for the schedule.
