Sheldon, Iowa — Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon has been ranked high in a study by the personal finance website, WalletHub.
According to NCC Vice President for Student and Academic Services, Dr. John Hartog, WalletHub rated NCC as third in the nation for career outcomes and 12th in the nation in the list of best overall community colleges.
He says NCC faculty and staff are “thrilled by the outcome.”

According to Hartog, the award is a reminder to faculty, staff, students, parents, and the community.
He reminds us that NCC partners with high schools to offer joint credits, and he says that WalletHub has highlighted the fact that those who attend community colleges can save thousands of dollars on their education, and that NCC students are attending a college of the highest quality.
