Sheldon, Iowa — Time is almost up for the 2019 Sheldon United Fund, and a hefty sum has yet to be raised if the drive is to end on-goal this year.

The drive continues through December 31st. The goal this year is $30,000.

The fund drive is now 91% finished. The funds are at about 77% of the goal, at $23,107. Nearly $6900 has yet to be raised.  In the last week, donors gave $1,375. Organizers remind would-be donors that the time to donate is quickly drawing to a close. The drive wraps up in a little over a week.

Contributions to any or all of the organizations served by the Sheldon United Fund may be left at Citizen’s State Bank, Iowa State Bank, Northwestern Bank, or People’s Bank; or you can also send them to PO Box 41, Sheldon, IA 51201. Explanations of the organizations are also available at the banks.

Each week we’re mentioning a few of the organizations that can benefit from your donations. This time the list includes:

· Sheldon Prairie Museum
