Sheldon, Iowa — Wednesday was the first day of classes for many school districts around the KIWA listening area, including the Sheldon Community Schools.
We talked to Sheldon Middle School Principal Cindy Barwick, and asked her if the first day back in school could be described as “controlled chaos.”
Barwick says the Middle School held an Open House for students and parents Tuesday evening, which she says was a nice start to the school year.
She says that faculty and staff are excited to have the kids back with them for another school year.
Barwick says she thinks most of the kids are happy to be back, as well.
