Northwest Iowa — Here in northwest Iowa it’s pretty certain we won’t be seeing a white Christmas this year.
KIWA talked to National Weather Service Meteorologist Phil Schumacher, and asked him if anybody in the region would be seeing a white Christmas.
Schumacher says that, while many people were hoping for a white Christmas, this weather will be more accommodating to travelers.
He says there is some snow in the forecast this week, but he says it won’t be around long.
