Sheldon, Iowa — Another harbinger of spring comes this weekend in Sheldon, when Sheldon High School holds their 2022 Prom.

This year’s theme for prom is, “A Night in the Spotlight”, and begins with the Prom Social from 5:30 to 6:00 pm in the Sheldon High School Commons.

At 6:15 Saturday evening is the Prom Grand March in the high school gym. This is the public’s opportunity to see the prom-goers on parade in their formal attire. The doors will open to the public at 5:45, with tickets available at the door for $5 each.

Following the Grand March, prom-goers will proceed to the Crossroads Pavilion event center for the Prom Dinner and Dance. The group will travel south on 19th Avenue, which runs along the east side of the high school, east on 6th Street to Country Club Road, south on Country Club Road, then east to the Crossroads Pavilion.
