Northwest Iowa — Thursday the Climate Prediction Center released their outlooks for May, the first half of Summer, and then a “drought outlook”.
Unfortunately, the outlooks are not great. Continued dry conditions look to prevail into the Summer, with rising temperatures as the Summer goes on. This increases the drought potential over a large portion of the central US.
