Sheldon, Iowa — When the Sheldon Community School Board of Education meets in regular session this Wednesday evening, they will discuss purchasing a vehicle and several items of computer equipment, among other topics.
The board will talk about free and reduced-price lunch participation and accept bids for bread and milk for the upcoming year. They’ll set the athletic ticket cost for the coming school year. They’ll also decide on the purchases of a larger SUV, 200 computers and 17 smart boards.
Also on the agenda is the discussion of a cooperative athletic agreement with St. Patrick’s School, the approval of three volunteer coaches, and the consideration of administrative contract adjustments. A closed session for a collective bargaining strategy session is on the agenda as well. They’ll also discuss several more items.
The meeting will be at 5 p.m. this Wednesday in the Sheldon High School Library.
