Ribbon Cut On NCC Applied Technology Building

ncc-ribbon-cuttingSheldon, Iowa — Friday (October 28th) is a very busy day at Northwest Iowa Community College, as their “Days of Thunder” homecoming celebrations is approaching it’s climax.

One of Friday’s activities was the Ribbon Cutting for the new Applied Technology Building on the northeastern part of the NCC Campus.

The ribbon cutting began with a few words from Sheldon Chamber & Development Corporation President, Rick Nordahl.

Next up, and speaking on behalf of the City of Sheldon, was Development Director Curt Strouth.

Northwest Iowa Community College President, Dr. Alethea Stubbe then spoke on behalf of NCC.

Speaking on behalf of the Sheldon Ambassadors Club was President Skip Tanner.

Founded in Sheldon in 1966, Northwest Iowa Community College is celebrating their 50th anniversary.

This year’s Days of Thunder culminates in the 5th Annual NCC/KIWA Radio Thunder Road Race, which will be held Saturday morning (October 29th), beginning and ending at the college’s Lifelong Learning & Rec Center.
