Rock Valley, Iowa — Rock Valley Police officers are advising residents and others in the northwest Sioux County community to be cautious with their valuables and their vehicles.
The Rock Valley Police Department issued a statement on Monday saying that they have received multiple reports of vehicle burglaries within the last week. They say the burglarized vehicles had been left unlocked and cash and other valuables were taken.
Officers say they are working to find those responsible.
The statement goes on to say that they need the public’s help to prevent future incidents. They advise you to lock your vehicles, homes, and garages, especially when they are unattended or unoccupied.
