Santa At Library But No Horse-Drawn Rides In Sheldon

Sheldon, Iowa — The wintry weather forecast is changing some events in northwest Iowa that were scheduled for this weekend.
Christmas presents
The original plan was to have horse-drawn carriage rides in Sheldon this Saturday, December 17th. But Sheldon Chamber Director Shanelle Matus tells us that plan had to be changed this time. However, other Christmastime events are still taking place.

She says the holiday festivities continue next week in Sheldon.

Matus says she would hate to hear that someone found Merry Money in their wallet after December 24th, because it does expire and will not be accepted after that date.

She also reminds us that if you can’t decide on the right gift or can’t come up with ideas for someone, you can always get them Sheldon Dollars. She says they can be spent at all chamber merchants and are available at the chamber, located in the Community Services Center in Sheldon.
