Sheldon, Iowa — It’s the most wonderful time of the year, or so goes a popular holiday tune. Christmas shopping continues in Sheldon.
We talked with Sheldon Chamber Director Shantel Oostra, and she tells us about the special things going on in Sheldon for the holidays.
Oostra says since she and Chamber Executive Assistant Brittany Maasen are new to their positions, the time to put Christmas promotions and festivities together was limited this year. But they hope to have more next year.
Unfortunately, says Oostra, the chamber has had to stop doing the horse-drawn rides, due to an insurance issue.
