Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon Community School District Board of Education met on Wednesday evening, October 11th.
Superintendent Cory Myer gives us the highlights.
Myer says they had what he called “a really neat presentation.”
Myer says he’s proud of the individuals for taking initiative and organizing a program such as this.
He says in the principals’ reports, the principals talked about all the “cool things that are going on.”
When we talked to Mr. Myer, he also wanted to promote something their drama students are doing.
Myer says there are some proposed renovations and additions to the high school building, and there will be a school bond vote on Tuesday, November 7th, as part of the city and school election. But he says beside voting at your poll, in person at the auditor’s office, or via the mail, you actually have another opportunity as well.
He gives us a little more information about the bond issue.
If you’d like more information on what happened at the board meeting, you can call the Sheldon Community School District Office.
