Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon Community School District Board of Education met in special session yesterday (Tuesday, August 22nd) with just one item on the agenda.
The School Board voted, without comment, to accept the resignation of Physical Education teacher Taylor Morris. No reason was given for Morris’ resignation.
The meeting, which was gaveled to order at 5:00 pm, adjourned at 5:02.
With the 2017-18 school year starting today (Wednesday), we asked who the District would have to teach Morris’s classes. A District representative told us that a plan was in place, and other teacher’s schedules had been adjusted to allow for covering the classes left without a teacher due to Morris’s resignation.
