Sheldon, Iowa — Area coffee lovers now have a new outlet to score their favorite beverage with the opening Thursday of Scooter’s in Sheldon.
The owner of the Sheldon Scooter’s, Jay Van Dyken, tells KIWA how Scooter’s came to establish a location here.
He says the process of getting the Sheldon location open was a little slower than anticipated, forcing them to push their original late summer opening date back to the end of December.
Van Dyken tells us what Scooter’s has to offer.
He says Scooter’s menu includes more than just coffee by the cup.
He says no preorder is necessary for the bulk coffees, just come through their drive-thru to order, it won’t take very long to have it ready for you.
Van Dyken says he and his team invite everyone in the area to come try out Scooter’s in Sheldon.
Scooter’s drive-thru is open Monday through Friday from 5:30 am to 8:00 pm, with Saturday and Sunday hours from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm. They’re located on the northeast corner of Highway 18 and Country Club Road, just west of Fareway, in eastern Sheldon.
