Sheldon, Iowa — When one hears the word, “Prom”, one normally thinks of a springtime formal dance for high school students. However, this weekend there will be a Prom held in Sheldon that has nothing to do with high schoolers, or springtime.
Sheldon’s Adult Prom is scheduled for this Saturday night (November 4th) at the Crossroads Pavilion. Melissa Remme is one of the event’s organizers, and she tells us how the plans for the event came about.
Remme says the music for the Adult Prom will be provided by local deejays.
She says they have a “lot of cool stuff” lined up for the event.
Tickets for the event are still available for $20 each, and may be purchased at Remme’s State Farm office, located across the street north of the City Park, on Highway 18 in Sheldon, as well as Langer’s and Cook’s Cafe. Tickets will also be available at the door for $25.
