Sheldon, Iowa — Sheldon Celebration Days this year went very well.
That from one of the organizers of the event, Allison Cooke.
She says they really appreciate the support from the community and from those out-of-town. Cooke says that’s what Celebration Days is all about — bragging about Sheldon a little bit, getting people to stay here, and getting people to live here.
Cooke tells us one thing they might do differently is encourage parade walkers to ride on floats if it’s that hot again. But, she says next year the weather could be completely different. After all, as she says, “it’s Iowa.”
