Sheldon, Iowa — On Thursday, Sheldon Christian School hosted kids and different types of vehicles from the community for an event billed as “Touch A Truck”.
Katie Wieringa, from Sheldon Christian School, says the school loves kids and loves the community and decided that “Touch A Truck” would be a great way to bring community and kids together.
Wieringa says they had fifteen different types of vehicles for the kids to touch.
In addition to the kids from their school, Sheldon Christian School hosted kids from Sheldon Community Schools, Noah’s Ark Preschool, Children’s World and the community at large during the event.
