Sheldon, Iowa — For several years the Sheldon Ministerial Association has sponsored a Coats for Kids Drive to help get warm winter coats into the hands of children in the community who might not otherwise have a warm coat for this coming winter.
The Sheldon Ministerial Association is currently accepting donations of new or gently used coats for their Coats for Kids drive. The coats may be dropped off at Top Notch Stitching, which is located at 512 9th Street in Sheldon, until October 29th.
According to the Sheldon Ministerial Association, Campus Cleaners has kindly offered to clean the used coats to prepare them for their new owners.
Distribution of the coats is scheduled for 9:00 to 11:00 am Saturday, November 6th at the Sheldon Community Services Center.
