Sheldon Crazy Day Is Wednesday

Sheldon, Iowa — Wednesday will be a wild day in Sheldon, in fact, it will be downright crazy!

Sheldon’s annual Crazy Days runs from 7:00am to 7:00pm Wednesday (July 18th). Sheldon merchants will have merchandise out on the street with crazy deals galore. 

Lunch and supper will both be available, so you won’t have to stop shopping in order to eat. Hy-Vee will be grilling in the downtown park from 11:00 to 1:00, and again from 4:30 to 6:30.

As part of Crazy Days, Safety Day will also be observed downtown in Sheldon from 4:30 to 6:30 Wednesday afternoon. The Sheldon Police Department will be doing bicycle registration, the Sheldon Fire Company will be giving fire truck rides, they’ll have ID kits for kids, courtesy of Melissa Remme and State Farm Insurance, and SCAT will give tours of one of their ambulances. In addition, the O’Brien County Emergency Management Agency, and MidAmerican Energy, will have safety displays.

Sheldon’s Crazy Days is happeneing Wednesday, out on the street, in Sheldon.
