Sheldon, Iowa — The Fareway Food Store in Sheldon welcomed a new manager last week. Casey Ahrendsen replaces former manager Brent Kraft who left to become manager of a larger Fareway store in Marion, Iowa.
Ahrendsen, who previously managed a Fareway in Nebraska City, Nebraska, is a Le Mars native who tells KIWA he was thrilled with the opportunity to return to northwest Iowa.
He extended an invitation to everyone to come meet him at the Sheldon Fareway store.
Ahrendsen is a dedicated family man who says he plans to remain in Sheldon for many years to come.
Ahrendsen took over as manager of Sheldon’s Fareway last Wednesday, January 15th.
