Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon Fire Department responded to the call of a fire on a light pole in the parking lor of the Sheldon Hy-Vee store Sunday afternoon (June 4th).
Sheldon Assistant Fire Chief Randy Harms tells KIWA that when firefighters arrived on scene they discovered one of the lights in the store’s parking lot was smoking. Harms says crews turned off the power to the light.
Harms says fire crews were on scene for about 25 minutes.
