Sheldon, Iowa — Homecoming is a very special time each year for high school students and sports fans.
Despite the fact that Sheldon’s Homecoming week is still a ways off, the Homecoming Court has been announced by Sheldon Community High School.
The 2016 Sheldon Homecoming Queen Candidates include:
Rebecca Beldt – daughter of Chuck & Chris Beldt
Bailey Elgersma – daughter of Corey & Teri Elgersma and Darla & Lee Reuvers
Mallory McQueen – daughter of Dolly McQueen & the late Tim McQueen
D’Que Serrano – daughter of Dave & Shelly Serrano
Kaitlyn Vote – daughter of John & Maribeth Vote
The 2016 Sheldon Homecoming King Candidates are:
Nick Bomgaars – son of Gene & Amy Bomgaars
Cody Cooper – son of Stewart & Niki Cooper
Parker Nissen – son of Heidi Brown & Craig Nissen
Dominic Seivert –son of Troy & Dawn Seivert
Alex Zoelle – son of Tony & Sara Zoelle
The King and Queen candidates will be riding in Monday’s Celebration Days Parade, with coronation of the king and queen set for Tuesday, September 20 at 8:00 PM in the high school gym, during Homecoming week.
