Sheldon Merry Money To Be Sold Today

Sheldon, Iowa — November has arrived, and Christmas shopping season is just around the corner.

The Sheldon Chamber and Development Corporation, in cooperation with several Sheldon businesses, is helping you stretch your Christmas shopping dollars with Merry Money.

$125,000 in Merry Money will go on Sale Tuesday (November 5th), election day, at the Sheldon Community Services Center. Merry Money will go on sale beginning at 7:00 am, and when it’s gone it’s gone.

Here’s what you need to know. Merry Money purchases are limited to $2,000 per household or business. Merry Money must be spent in Sheldon at participating SCDC businesses. You’ll get a ten percent discount on Merry Money at the time of purchase, or in other words, if you buy $1000 worth of Merry Money you’ll pay just $900. And Merry Money must be spent by December 24th of this year. There is no refund for unspent Merry Money. Also no change or cash back at time of purchase. And, when you purchase Merry Money you’ll receive a list of the SCDC businesses where Sheldon Merry Money can be spent.

This is not a loan. You’ll purchase Merry Money at a discount, with cash up front.
