Sheldon Public Library Holds Many Christmas-Themed Activities

Sheldon, Iowa — If you are looking for something for your kids to do while they are on Christmas break the Sheldon Public Library has many Christmas-themed activities planned from now until the end of January.

Nicole Weber, the Sheldon Public Library Director, tells KIWA that, even with the weather, they still plan on having the Holly Jolly Hoopla tonight (December 16th) from 5:00 until 7:00.

On Wednesday (December 21st) there will be Christmas Crafts from 2:45 until 3:45 in the afternoon. Weber says people need to register for this activity.

On Tuesday, December 27th there will be a Make and Take Teen Craft for ages 12 to 18 years old. This will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and no registration is required.

There will be dominos available on Wednesday, December 28th for children of all ages from 2:45 until 3:45 p.m. No registration is required, but Weber said younger children should not come alone.

On Friday afternoon, December 30th, and Saturday, December 31st there will be a Christmas Candy Capers Escape Room.  This is for families or older children. You must call for a time slot. Weber explains the storyline of the escape room.

To register for Christmas Crafts or the Christmas Candy Caper Escape Room call the Sheldon Public Library at (712) 324-2442.
