Sheldon School Board to Meet Wednesday Night

 

Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon Community Schools Board of Education regular monthly meeting for September will be held on Wednesday, September 12th at 5:00 in the high school library.

During the meeting, a variety of student recognitions for Fall sports will be shared, and the Student Leadership Team will share their plans to help celebrate Homecoming as well as some of their initiatives for the school year.

The Board is expected to approve four Open Enrollment Applications, three employment contracts, three contract revisions, as well as three applications for early graduation for the upcoming school year. In other action, the Board is also expected to approve the transportation Agreement with Unity Christian, and the 4+ Service Agreement with Iowa Lakes.

Superintendent Cory Myer will be presenting information on Operational Sharing, Emergency Operations Planning, and the school’s annual audit. The Board will also discuss numerous other items of business as listed on their agenda. 

September’s regular monthly meeting will begin Wednesday evening at 5:00 in the Library at Sheldon High School.
