Sheldon, Iowa — Halloween is coming up on Monday and many of the area towns have activities planned for kids and even adults.
In Sheldon, there are several varieties of trick-or-treating, all planned for Monday night, according to Sheldon Chamber Director Allison Cooke.
After the downtown trick-or-treating, you can go to Sanford Sheldon Senior Care, which is attached to Sanford Sheldon Hospital, to trick-or-treat there, says Cooke.
Cooke says they are suggesting that kids do their house-to-house (“city wide”) trick or treating on Monday night from 5 to 7 p.m.
Other northwest Iowa communities have Halloween events planned as well. Contact the chambers of commerce for more information.
Also, don’t miss the Second Annual Sheldon Halloween Carnival on Saturday, October 29th. It’s from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Prairie Arts Historical Park on Highway 18 in Sheldon.
Again, the trick-or-treating in Sheldon on Monday will be:
Downtown from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Sanford Senior Care from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
City-wide from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
