Sheldon, Iowa — Donations to the 2019 Sheldon United Fund are going to need an influx of funds in the next two days to finish on goal.
The drive continues through Tuesday. The goal this year is $30,000.
The fund drive is now 98% finished. But the funds are only at about 88% of goal, at $26,311. Over $3600 has yet to be raised. In the last week, donors gave $3204.
Contributions to any or all of the organizations served by the Sheldon United Fund may be left at Citizen’s State Bank, Iowa State Bank, Northwestern Bank, or People’s Bank; or you can also send them to PO Box 41, Sheldon, IA 51201. Explanations of the organizations are also available at the banks.

The United Fund will be assisting 23 different organizations in Sheldon and the surrounding communities this year, and the board members thank the businesses and individuals of Sheldon and the surrounding communities for their continued support.
