Sheriff’s Office Asks For Public’s Help To Find Out Who Struck Bridge Near Hudson

Sioux County, Iowa east of Hudson, SD — The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to try to solve a hit-and-run accident in which someone struck a bridge and drove away.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated the hit-and-run motor vehicle accident that occurred on 360th Street; nine miles southwest of Rock Valley, near Hudson, South Dakota.

The investigation revealed that a white-colored vehicle was traveling eastbound on 360th Street when it crossed the westbound lane and struck the guardrail on the north side of the bridge. The driver left the scene without reporting the accident.

The investigating deputy believes the incident occurred sometime between Tuesday, March 12 and Thursday, March 14. The vehicle will have extensive front-side damage.

The guardrail sustained approximately $7,000 in damage.
