Sibley, Iowa — Thousands of high school agriculture students are descending upon Indianapolis, Indiana this week for the annual National FFA Convention.
Eighteen of those students are from Sibley-Ocheyedan High School. Sibley-Ocheyedan Ag Instructor Brian Gottlob tells KIWA his students are excited about the trip.
The Sibley-Ocheyedan contingent left Sibley Wednesday afternoon enroute to Indianapolis, with a special stop along the way.
Gottlob tells us about some of the things his students will see and do while in Indianapolis.
He says that the Sibley-Ocheyedan students will be returning home from the convention in two separate groups.
The 2016 National FFA Convention runs Wednesday through Saturday this week in Indianapolis, Indiana.
