Paullina, Iowa — A South O’Brien High School senior made an appearance at the White House last week. Eric Koehlmoos received a special invitation to participate in the 2015 White House Science Fair on Monday, March 23rd in Washington.
Koehlmoos presented his award-winning project at the event, which recognizes the accomplishments of STEM students from across the United States. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Koehlmoos was one of about 100 of the country’s brightest who were invited to the 5th Annual White House Science Fair, which features innovative STEM projects from across the country.
Koehlmoost is from rural Granville, and is a senior at South O’Brien High School.
